Our Story
Rob and Steve began working together in 2023 at Westshore Financial. From the start, it was clear they shared a similar mindset, not just in how they approached financial planning, but in how they approached life. They both believed that to truly serve clients well, you have to enjoy what you do and who you do it with.
Over time, they saw an opportunity to do more.
By late 2025, they realized they were underutilizing their reach and relationships across the Tampa Bay area. They wanted to build something that felt more connected to the community they call home - something that reflected both their professional experience and personal values.
That vision became Gasparilla Financial.
While their foundation was shaped by the principles and discipline they developed at Westshore Financial, their goal was to create a firm that resonated more deeply with the people of Tampa Bay: families, business owners, and professionals looking for thoughtful guidance and a long-term relationship.
